Job Purpose
To lead and champion world-class hygiene standards across all factory areas and shifts, including night operations, ensuring a consistently clean, safe, and audit-ready manufacturing environment.
The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving hygiene systems that protect product integrity, support manufacturing efficiency, and ensure compliance with food safety, customer, and regulatory requirements.
This includes oversight of all cleaning activities, from daily sanitation tasks and routine cleaning schedules to full equipment strip-downs, deep cleans, and periodic hygiene programmes.
A key focus of the role is to optimise cleaning effectiveness through robust hygiene planning, the review of cleaning and disinfection performance, and the continuous assessment of equipment hygiene design.
By working collaboratively across departments, the Hygiene Manager will drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring hygiene practices support operational performance and business objectives.
