We are looking for a commercially driven Procurement Finance Lead to partner closely with our Procurement and Supply Chain teams in a dynamic, fast-paced FMCG environment. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the business, translating sourcing strategies into real financial value, driving cost discipline, and unlocking opportunities across a complex and rapidly evolving supply chain. You will play a key role in influencing decisions, navigating commodity volatility, and delivering sustainable margin improvement.
What You'll Be Accountable For
- Strategic Finance Business Partnering
Act as a trusted partner to Procurement, providing clear, data-driven insights that influence sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and business decisions. - Driving Cost & Margin Performance
Lead analysis of commodity trends and inflation impacts translating market movements into actionable financial strategies that protect and enhance margins in a high-volume FMCG setting. - Delivering Sustainable Savings
Own the validation and governance of procurement savings, ensuring robust, credible reporting aligned to financial standards and delivering tangible value to the P&L. - Planning, Forecasting & Insight
Lead budgeting and forecasting for procurement spend, including S&OP inputs, risks, and opportunities. Deliver high-quality weekly and monthly reporting that brings clarity in a fast-moving environment. - Governance & Control
Champion strong financial discipline across procurement processes, including supplier rebates, compliance, and SOx controls ensuring accuracy and accountability. - Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and develop a Procurement Finance Accountant while elevating financial understanding across procurement and supply chain teams.
What We're Looking For
- FMCG / Manufacturing Expertise
Proven finance business partnering experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or complex supply chains. Strong understanding of direct materials, procurement economics, and margin drivers. - Commercial & Analytical Strength
Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Strong financial modelling and analytical capability. - Influencing & Communication
Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and influence across functions. Experience working with senior stakeholders in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. - Mindset & Agility
Thrives in a high-growth, high-change FMCG environment. Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude. - Qualifications
