INTERIM FTC Commercial MANAGER | TESCO JS | 3-4 MONTH CONTRACT
Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of the Tesco account on an immediate 3-4 month fixed-term contract . This is a hands-on commercial role requiring someone who can quickly step into a fast-paced FMCG environment, build credibility with key stakeholders, and deliver against commercial objectives from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Tesco account, delivering budgeted sales, volume and margin targets.
- Manage day-to-day customer relationships across commercial, supply chain and category functions
- Drive commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and promotional activity.
- Develop and implement customer plans aligned to business objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure excellent execution.
- Monitor performance against targets, identifying risks and implementing recovery plans where required.
- Support ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at driving profitable growth and improving customer performance.
Experience Required
- Proven Account Management experience managing Tesco, JS within FMCG.
- Experience across branded Ideally or private label or own-label categories considered.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales and margin growth.
- Confident negotiator with the ability to build relationships at multiple levels within a major retailer.
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment and hit the ground running.
- Available immediately or at short notice.
- 3-4 month Fixed Term Contract
- Immediate start preferred
- Hybrid working available
