The Blakeney Hotel is an award winning, four star, 64 bedroom, privately owned and family run hotel located in an unrivalled position on The Quay in Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance person to carry out scheduled day to day and emergency maintenance activities around the hotel, its grounds and leisure facility.
Role of the Maintenance Person:
- Undertaking & recording daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on hotel plant including boilers, plant, water quality and
- equipment
- Painting & decorating
- Some gardening duties/lawn mowing
- Maintenance and cleaning of pool/leisure facilities
- Legionnaires management
- Management of flood board checks
- Maintaining and cleaning garden furniture
- Reporting any problems with the building or plant to Management/Proprietor
- Keeping public areas clean, tidy and presentable
- Basic plumbing and maintaining small stocks of frequently used consumables
Experience/Skills
- Experience in plumbing, maintenance, garden maintenance, or trade qualification
- A proactive attitude to work
- The ability to use your own initiative and manage your time and workload effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and a high quality workmanship
- Ability to see areas needing improvement
- Willingness to work with other departments as required
- Flexible with hours/days of work
Working Hours:
7am to 3.30pm / 10am to 6pm (on a rota basis, including weekends).
Location: Blakeney, Norfolk
Contract type: Full time, permanent, or part time (weekends)
