We are seeking Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join our friendly, hardworking and dedicated team and to continue the excellent customer service we have become known for. A Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and replenishing amenities as well as public areas of the hotel to deliver an excellent guest experience while managing guest requests in a timely manner. With 64 bedrooms, 2 sitting rooms, a bar, restaurant, games room, swimming pool, steam and sauna room and mini gym, the successful candidate will work as part of the team to clean and maintain these areas to the highest standard.
Role of the Housekeeper / Room Attendant:
- Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms and allocated public areas to the highest standards.
- Replenishing amenities to deliver excellent guest experiences.
- Looking after guest needs and maintain friendly polite and courteous attitude.
- Maintain clean rooms by vacuuming, polishing, providing linen services, dusting, cleaning, other duties as advised by line manager.
- Return of dirty linen to the linen room, keeping clear records of linen quantities taken from each room.
- Report faults / defects in rooms.
- Setting up welcome trays in rooms.
Experience / Skills of the Housekeeper / Room Attendant:
- Experience in a similar role helpful but not essential as full training provided.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
Working Hours: Part-time approx. 30/35 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (including weekends) approximately 9:00am to 3:30pm. 28 days holiday (pro rata). Less hours available if required. Temporary, permanent, seasonal contracts available. Additional hours may be available in other departments, if required.
