Job Details
Warehouse Operative (PM) – Bedford Depot
Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Hours: 40 per week on a 5‑out‑of‑7 rota (including weekends)
Environment: Temperature‑controlled 4 °C warehouse
Pay:
- 90% performance: £12.69 per hour
- 100% performance: £14.10 per hour
- 110% performance: £15.51 per hour
- 120% performance: £16.92 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble customer orders.
- Pick and load goods onto cages safely.
- Input weighted items correctly.
- Follow stock rotation procedures.
- Perform various warehouse duties with precision and efficiency.
- Properly mark and store assembled orders for dispatch.
Essential Qualifications
- Numerate and literate.
- Warehouse and distribution experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.
Desirable Qualifications & Benefits
- Ability to work in a freezer environment – £1.18 per hour premium.
- FLT (Reach/VNA) licence – £0.60 per hour premium.
