Warehouse Operative (Night) – Bedford Depot
Night Shift – 10pm‑6am
40 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 day rota (including weekends)
Temperature-controlled (4°C) environment
Performance pay: 90% £12.69 per hour; 100% £14.10 per hour; 110% £15.51 per hour; 120% £16.92 per hour
We are currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse Operatives at our Bedford Depot. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble customer orders
- Pick and load goods onto cages safely
- Input weighted items correctly
- Follow stock rotation procedures
- Perform various warehouse duties with precision and efficiency
- Properly mark and store assembled orders for dispatch
Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required
- Essential
- Numerate and literate
- Warehousing and distribution experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment
- Desirable
- Ability to work in a freezer environment, earning an extra £1.18ph premium.
- FLT (Reach/VNA) licence, earning an extra £0.60ph premium.
