Warehouse Operative (07:00 – 17:00)
40 hours per week, 4 days out of 7, to include weekends on a rota basis
Temperature-controlled (4°C) environment
90% performance £12.69 per hour
100% performance £14.10 per hour
110% performance £15.51 per hour
120% performance £16.92 per hour
Additional £0.60 Per Hour If Reach Certified
As a Warehouse Operative in Bedford (MK41 7BJ), you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient assembly of customers\’ orders. We are seeking motivated, friendly, hard-working individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate assembly of customers\’ orders
- Picking and loading goods onto cages in a safe and manageable manner
- Adhering to stock rotational procedures
- Performing accurate and efficient duties within other warehouse functions
- Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch
- The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles
- Ensuring that drivers’ run-sheets, documentation and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading
- The preparation of vehicles prior to loading
Some Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required
- Essential
- Numerate and literate
- Warehousing and distribution experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment
- Desirable
- FLT (Reach) licence, earning an extra £0.60ph premium.
