Join Blakemore Trade Partners as a Store Manager for our Spar store in Tenbury Wells. This role offers a base salary of £32,000 plus a bonus potential of up to £7,800.
Role Overview
The Store Manager will report to the Retail Operations Manager and drive growth for one of our 245 SPAR convenience stores, employing more than 5,000 people with a turnover of £1.3 billion.
Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Flexible shift pattern between 7 am and 11 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, recruit, train and develop a high‑performing team committed to exceptional customer service.
- Create a positive, collaborative work environment and celebrate colleague successes.
- Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, including inventory management, merchandising, visual standards and stock control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, and implement strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Set and achieve sales targets, driving initiatives to increase revenue and profitability. Analyse sales reports to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in local community events and initiatives, strengthening the store’s ties with the community.
- Manage budgets, expenses and financial reporting to keep the store operating within established parameters.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate a diverse team.
