Blakemore Trade Partners is seeking a Despatch Clerk to support our high‑volume order processing and logistics operations. The role involves variable shifts (5‑day and 7‑day patterns), including evenings and weekends, and requires accurate, efficient handling of customer orders in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and release customer orders to planned routes.
- Administer customer orders, replenishment and despatch operations.
- Liaise with operations management and other departments regarding general queries and provision of information.
- Administer, collate and distribute driver information.
- Run and distribute general reports.
- Allocate work areas to warehouse staff.
- Replenish warehouse consumables and stationery.
Essential Requirements
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel.
Desirable Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs (A‑C).
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience using PUTTY (training will be provided).
- Ability to produce accurate work within agreed timescales.
