Essential Warehouse Operative Freezer - Night Shift (22:00 – 06:00). 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, to include weekends on a rota basis. Temperature-controlled (-23°C to 4°C) environment.
Pay and Hours
Pay is based on productivity utilising a Standard Hour scheme:
- 90% performance £12.90 per hour
- 100% performance £14.10 per hour
- 110% performance £15.51 per hour
- 120% performance £16.92 per hour
(all inclusive of £1.80ph Night Shift allowance and £1.18ph Freezer premium. Work conducted outside the freezer as and when required will not feature the premium)

As a Warehouse Operative in Bedford (MK41 7BJ), you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient assembly of customers' orders. We are seeking motivated, friendly, hard-working individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate assembly of customers' orders
- Picking and loading goods onto cages in a safe and manageable manner
- Adhering to stock rotational procedures
- Performing accurate and efficient duties within other warehouse functions
- Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch
- The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles
- Ensuring that drivers’ run-sheets, documentation and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading
- The preparation of vehicles prior to loading

- FLT (Reach/VNA) licence, earning an extra £0.60ph premium.
