We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based in Sutton who are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner. This is a great opportunity for a Paraplanner to make the move into advising. Due to expansion, an exciting position has become available for a qualified Paraplanner to join a friendly team based in West London.
If you have paraplanning experience, then this is a perfect opportunity to join a growing boutique wealth management company. Working closely with the advisers, you will be conversant in all pensions including Defined Benefits as well as EIS/VCT and other tax advantaged investments. Providing support throughout the advice process, you will ensure a first-class client service is delivered. You will interpret information obtained during client meetings, conduct research to provide solutions to meet their needs, prepare APTA/ TVC (using SelectaPension) and recommend an appropriate course of action in suitability reports.
You will manage the paraplanning process whilst supporting the advisers, and assist in the training of Junior Paraplanners as required. Other day to day duties will include dealing with queries, preparing existing client files for review, and ensuring compliance on an ongoing basis. You must maintain up to date product knowledge in order to ensure reports are technically accurate and compliance standards are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will be:
- experienced as a Paraplanner - 2+ years’
- experienced in the Wealth Management Industry - 4+ years’
- Diploma Level 4 Qualified in Financial Planning
- Flexible, adaptable, client focussed individual with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
