I'm recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded, independent wealth management firm based in St Albans, who are looking for an experienced Financial Planner to take over part of an established client bank from a retiring adviser. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-quality portfolio (approx. £30m AUM) and continue delivering outstanding financial planning advice, with full support and a smooth client handover.
Role Overview
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring a seamless transition
- Deliver holistic financial planning across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
- Build long-term client relationships and uphold the firm's reputation for quality advice
- Work alongside a dedicated paraplanning and administrative team
- Generate additional business through referrals and ongoing client engagement
About You
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (Chartered or working towards is advantageous)
- Proven experience as a Financial Planner / Adviser (minimum 3 years)
- Strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning
