We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning firm local to Witney who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their team.
They are looking for an experienced paraplanner with a passion for strategy. If you're excited by strategic thinking, client engagement, and building detailed, goal-driven financial plans, this is the role for you. This is not a report-writing role hidden behind spreadsheets and templates. You’ll be an integral part of the client planning process from the start, working closely with Financial Planners, contributing directly to strategy, attending client meetings, and helping shape life-changing outcomes for the clients.
The company is an independent financial planning firm based just outside Witney. They are known for their truly holistic, lifestyle-based financial planning, and they pride themselves on making a genuine difference in their clients’ lives. They believe that great paraplanning is a career, not a stepping stone. That’s why they're investing in someone who wants to refine their technical skills, drive client strategy, and become a vital part of a collaborative planning team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Financial Planners to build tailored financial strategies and planning solutions.
- Attend client meetings and help translate their goals into robust financial strategies and cashflow plans.
- Carry out deep technical research, product analysis, and portfolio review work.

- Work closely with the team to design smart, personalised plans as new clients come on board.
- Help review work and give helpful feedback to support junior team members.
- Work with our support team to ensure plans are implemented smoothly and efficiently.
- Contribute to ongoing innovation and best-practice development within the planning team.
What They are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years paraplanning experience with a track record of hands-on involvement in building client strategies.
- Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent.
- In-depth technical knowledge across key planning areas - pensions, investments, tax, protection, estate planning, etc, with the ability to apply it to client scenarios.
- Competent in using cashflow modelling tools - ideally Voyant.
- Excellent communicator - able to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
- A sharp eye for detail, strong numeracy, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding advice and outcomes, not just outputs.
The Perks
- Competitive salary (£50 - 60k DOE)
- Bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Early finish Fridays
- Private medical insurance
- Life insurance income protection
- Company pension scheme
- Ongoing training & full exam support
Flexible Working
They offer hybrid working, with the option to work up to two days per week from home (after successfully completing probation). However, they are a client-first firm, and flexibility is key — so there may be times when being in the office or attending client meetings takes priority. They trust their team to be responsive to client needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
