Job Description

Senior Administrator – Wealth Management

Location: Golders Green, North West London

Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm

Job Type: Full-time

The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of an established wealth management practice based in Golders Green for an experienced Senior Administrator to join a friendly and well-established team of wealth managers and financial planners.

This is a varied role combining client administration, front-of-house responsibilities and general office management. You will play an important part in ensuring the smooth running of the office and delivering a high standard of support to clients.

The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background in financial administration, with experience within a wealth management or IFA environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client correspondence, including email and telephone enquiries, and ensure queries are directed to the appropriate wealth manager.
  • Assist with new client onboarding and the processing of new business, liaising with clients and providers where required.
  • Add and maintain accurate client information on the back-office system.
  • Record remittances and fees accurately.
  • Prepare and update client packs and marketing documentation.
  • Deal with client requests, including monitoring requests for movement of funds and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Support wealth managers with the preparation of paperwork for client reviews.
  • Arrange client reviews as they become due and prepare follow-up documentation.
  • Diarise and monitor income payments and management fees.
  • Monitor asset transfer reports and follow up where necessary.
  • Produce client valuations and liaise with providers to obtain outstanding statements and resolve queries.
  • Support and oversee client-related systems and processes, ensuring an efficient end-to-end service.
  • Assist with general office management duties, including monitoring and managing rent payments.
  • Provide oversight and support to a Junior Administrator.

About You

We are looking for an organised, personable and detail-focused administrator who is confident dealing with clients, colleagues and external providers.

You will ideally have:

  • A minimum of five years' financial administration experience, preferably within a wealth management or IFA practice.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confidence working with numbers.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a changing workload and competing priorities.
  • A professional, articulate and friendly manner.
  • A strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to providing excellent client service.
