We are currently recruiting for a Wealth Management firm in Leighton Buzzard who are looking to recruit a Level 4 qualifiedParaplannerto join their team.
This role offers hybrid working 2 days working from home, the other 3 days in the office.
The company isis a highly professional, client focused financial planning practice, withits offices based in Leighton Buzzard.
They arelooking to recruit a qualified Financial Paraplanner to join our team.
The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director and would be expected to provide fullsupport, alongside the existing administration and paraplanning team, to the financial advisers in relationto all client servicing matters.
Responsibilities include
- Preparation of paperwork (including associated research and liaising with providers) for initialmeetings, recommendation meetings and review meetings on behalf of the relevant FinancialAdviser.
- Production of Suitability Letters in a timely manner, as requested by the relevant Financial Adviser.
- Direct communication with clients; verbally, in writing and sometimes face to face.
- Checking of compliance documentation to ensure client files are up to date and in order.
- Liaison with the administration team in relation of new business that requires processing. Ensuring that the relevant administrator is provided with clear and accurate instructions, regarding the new business they are expected to process and checking progress of cases.
Requirements
- Applicants should be Level 4 Diploma qualified (or actively working towards this qualification)with at least 2 years paraplanning experience.
- Excellent client communication skills and the ability to identify opportunities to further enhancethe client’s financial wellbeing.
- Experience of using MS Office package, Intelligent Office (or similar) and research tools suchas; O&M and Dynamic Planner. Experience of using Cash Flow modelling tools an advantage. Training will be provided where necessary.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Accurate, with a high standard of attention to detail.
