Blakemore Recruitment are assisting a progressive and innovative Financial Planning practice seek their next paraplanner to join their exciting, expanding team.
Responsibilities:
* Attend meetings with advisers, take minutes and lay out course of action for the team (and the clients if applicable)
* Keep clients informed.
* Liaise with client\’s accountants and solicitors where necessary.
* Be a main point of contact for clients alongside advisers and answer their queries as far as possible to reduce adviser time spent on telephone queries.
* Undertake product research across the whole of the market, in areas such as Pensions, Investments and Protection
* Undertake fund research, sometimes putting together bespoke fund recommendations
* Support the administrative team, ensuring that all systems, software and processes are understood in full in order that work can be picked up when the team is extremely busy, or when certain staff members are absent.
* Be a central figure in the team to ensure that cases are managed as they make their way around the team.
* Write suitability reports
