We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based in North Leigh, Oxfordshire who are looking to recruit an IFA Administrator.

The Role

Ideally they are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, however we would be open to discussions if you have some relevant experience, along with a desire to build upon your knowledge and expertise within a technical support role.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Paraplanner(s) in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives.
  • Supporting the Paraplanner(s) in the implementation of new business.
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets.
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the technical administrative function within the business.
  • Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities.
  • Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs.
  • Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally.

Ideally you will have:

  • Strong data management skills, with the ability to interpret, analyse and explain information clearly.
  • An excellent standard of written and verbal communication, delivered professionally, with attention to detail.
  • The ability to ensure that data is recorded within internal systems, to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Good computer knowledge and skills; fully comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A good knowledge of investment, pension and insurance products – this would include the various WRAP/Platform providers in the industry.
  • Good working knowledge of Intelligent Office would be beneficial.
  • Analytical thinking, with the ability to understand a situation and derive an intelligent and thoughtful response.
  • The ability to empathise and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, strategic partners and third party providers.
  • Strong communication skills to deliver excellent customer service to clients and third parties by telephone and email; an ability to convey technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • The ability to work using your own initiative, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • The ability to manage your own time and workload to ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
