We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based in Bishop Stortford who are looking for a Junior Paraplanner to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to provide the highest level possible of support to the Financial Services Sales Team and to deliver the agreed strategy and procedural objectives regarding compliance standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing vital support to the Consultants, acting as the technical interface between the consultants and the clients.
- Working independently and as part of a team.
- Providing a professional and holistic financial service to the Consultants and assisting them in delivery to the clients.
- Conducting technical research in DB schemes – speaking with ceding scheme administrators.
- Dealing with clients but not giving advice.
- MIFID reporting and annual reviews.
- Assisting with Suitability Report writing.
- Preparing for meetings, taking meeting notes, and following up as required.
- Ensuring compliance of client files and assisting with file audits.
- Performing other general client-related tasks.
Key Attributes:
- Good technical knowledge of advice and product options.
- Able to analyse statistics.
- Able to conduct research for appropriate providers and investments.
- Good understanding of compliance issues.
- Strong interpersonal and IT skills.
Qualifications Required:
- Preferred to have Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
