Financial Adviser - London

We are currently recruiting for an award-winning firm of Chartered independent financial advisers united by one vision: to provide personal and tailored wealth management to those in search of stability and guidance. They are looking to expand their team of Financial Advisers and are keen to hear from like-minded candidates.

Your main responsibility will be to provide independent advice to high net worth individuals through a financial planning led proposition. Whether through centrally qualified marketing leads or existing professional connections, you will develop a book of clients to provide advice and an engaging ongoing relationship. You will have an ability to identify planning opportunities and provide suitable recommendations to meet client needs. The quality of your advice and nurturing of client relationships will be an area you pride yourself on. You will meet all and standards and criteria set down by the FCA to provide regulated financial advice.

They have a collaborative and team-based approach so you will be well supported by junior and senior Advisers within the company with varying specialisms. You will also be supported by a team of experienced Paraplanners, many of whom are Chartered, and Administrators. You will be working with a superior investment proposition, led by our Investment Committee, who independently construct investment portfolios and solutions to meet client needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
– Detailed knowledge of the FCA and financial services industry
– A good understanding and knowledge of other relevant Legislation
– Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
– Research and analytical skills
– The ability to work in a team
– An ethical and professional approach to work

Core Requirements
– Ability to work in a values led company
– Chartered Financial Planner (or working towards)
– A full driving licence is preferred, particularly for independent financial advisers (IFAs) who may have to travel to visit clients in their own homes
