We are currently working with a well-established, client-focused financial planning firm based in Hertford to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and ethically driven individual who is looking to play a key role in supporting advisers within a collaborative and professional environment.
The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with the firm’s advisers, providing comprehensive technical support across a broad range of financial planning areas.
Responsibilities will include:
Conducting detailed research to support client recommendations
Performing tax calculations across various planning scenarios
Preparing high-quality, fully compliant suitability reports (beyond standard cases such as Bed & ISA and fund switches)
Supporting advisers across pensions, investments, and inheritance tax planning
Contributing to the ongoing development of client strategies
This role requires someone who can work independently while also being an integral part of a close-knit team.
About You
Level 4 Diploma qualified (essential)
Proven experience in a paraplanning role within financial services
Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and tax planning
High ethical standards and attention to detail
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Technical skills:
Proficient in Intelligent Office (essential)
Experienced with FE Analytics (essential)
Familiarity with Genovo (preferred)
