Mortgage Adviser to join an established financial services business based in London.

The successful candidate will provide professional mortgage advice to clients, helping them identify suitable lending solutions and supporting them throughout the application process.

The role will also involve advising on related insurances and, where appropriately qualified, equity release.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, confident and personable adviser who is looking to build strong, long-term relationships with clients and introducers and develop a loyal repeat client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with new and existing clients to understand their mortgage and lending requirements.
  • Research and source suitable mortgage options using sourcing systems and manual research where required.
  • Provide clients with clear, concise and professional advice.
  • Meet or speak with clients to assist with application and form completion.
  • Submit mortgage applications to lenders and manage the process through to completion.
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are fully met.
  • Liaise with lenders, surveyors, solicitors and other parties involved in the mortgage application.
  • Keep clients regularly informed of application progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the CRM system, including relevant notes and dates for future re-broking.
  • Ensure client documentation is appropriately recorded and maintained in line with company procedures.
  • Update relevant systems, documents and figures as required.
  • Attend industry roadshows and seminars to maintain and develop technical knowledge.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and introducers, generating repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

Ce MAP or equivalent mortgage advice qualification.

  • Equity Release qualification
  • if not already qualified, this will need to be obtained within 12 months of joining.
  • Minimum

2 years' experience within the mortgage market .

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy diary and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Friendly, confident and professional communication style.
  • Strong client relationship-building skills.
  • Good understanding of mortgage processes and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of

360 and Twenty7Tec software would be advantageous.
