A Legal Support Assistant is required to join the Succession and Tax team in Southampton. The core working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Due to the nature of this role being to support the fee-earning population, you will be required to attend our Southampton office for this role. Previous administrative or secretarial experience is essential. Legal experience is desirable, but not essential.
Typical Workload
- Working through the team virtual in-tray
- File open and closure
- Dealing with initial enquiries
- Organising client documents
- Creating archive records
- Retrieving documents from storage
The successful candidate will primarily be focused on the needs of the Southampton office, however will also be required to support the rest of the Private Client Business Group as and when required. There are other support members within the wider team and this role will require working in conjunction with them in carrying out the support function across the Practice Group.
The position would suit someone who is reliable, personable, flexible and confident, and someone who is very accurate and has an eye for detail. The post holder will require experience of dealing with a busy and varied workload with an ability to remain calm under pressure.
