At Blaise Veterinary Referrals, we have a very rare opening for a Diplomate (ECVECC, ACVECC) or Residency trained Emergency & Critical Care Clinician to join us on a permanent, part-time basis (30 hours per week). Blaise Veterinary Referrals is a large-scale, multi-disciplinary, specialist-led referral hospital which encompasses the culture and values we pride ourselves on at Inspiring Vet Care. Our welcoming, knowledgeable team will be here to support you every step of the way.

We have an outstanding team of recognised specialists across a multitude of disciplines including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue and Anaesthesia. The hospital is one of the largest in the UK at over 36,000 sq ft, with the capacity to treat up to 10,000 pets per year. From the site we provide specialist-led multi-discipline veterinary referrals and an emergency service. The site has easy access from the A38 through Longbridge and is part of the West Longbridge regeneration project. Blaise Referrals are part of Inspiring Vet Care.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Referral Veterinary Surgeon in ECC, you will deliver advanced veterinary care within a referral setting, managing complex cases and providing clinical advice and support to referring veterinary practices. You’ll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team to deliver outstanding patient and client care, while also supporting the development of colleagues through mentoring, supervision, and knowledge sharing. You’ll contribute positively to the efficient running of your service and play an active role in maintaining high clinical standards and continuous improvement.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

  • A Veterinary degree with RCVS registration, RCVS, American or European Board-Eligible/Boarded Diplomate in Cardiology
  • Previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary referral hospital
