Located in Longbridge, Birmingham, our veterinary hospital is one of the largest multidisciplinary referral hospitals in the UK. With state of the art equipment to treat up to 10,000 pets a year, our brilliant team provide the very best veterinary care and support to clients, pets and referring vets.
Our veterinary referral services include Anaesthesia & Analgesia, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, ECC, Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopaedics & Soft Tissue Surgery. At Blaise, we have a specialist-led 24-hour emergency and critical care service in partnership with Vets Now, providing out of hours and emergency pet care for Birmingham and surrounding areas.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Multidisciplinary Nurse, you will deliver advanced nursing care to complex cases within a referral hospital environment, supporting patients, clients, and clinical teams across a range of disciplines. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high standards of nursing care, supporting clinical decision-making, and sharing your experience and knowledge with colleagues to continually improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
Working Pattern
- 40hrs/week
- 4 day working week with a variable day off and 1:6 weekend rota
- Fixed term contract position until June 2027

You are an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong clinical capability and a passion for referral-level nursing. You’ll bring:
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Significant experience in clinical practice with strong medical and surgical nursing skills
- Experience working with complex cases in a referral or advanced-care environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and continuous improvement
