Blaise Veterinary Referral Centre is one of the UK’s largest purpose‑built, multidisciplinary referral hospitals, located in Longbridge, Birmingham. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Referral Veterinary Clinician in Anaesthesia, you will play a central role in supporting a wide range of complex cases within a busy multidisciplinary referral hospital. You’ll work closely with clinicians across multiple disciplines to deliver safe, high‑quality anaesthesia and analgesia, contributing to excellent patient outcomes and a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high standards of anaesthesia and perioperative care across a varied referral caseload
- Working collaboratively with Surgery, ECC, Imaging, Internal Medicine and other services
- Supporting the development of anaesthesia protocols and clinical standards
- Providing guidance and support to colleagues within the wider clinical team
- Contributing to a collaborative, open, and supportive team culture
- Playing an active role in clinical governance and continuous improvement
