About Blaise Veterinary Referral Centre
Blaise Veterinary Referral Centre is one of the UKâs largest purposeâbuilt, multidisciplinary referral hospitals, located in Longbridge, Birmingham. As the first IVC Evidensia referral hospital built from the ground up, Blaise has the capacity to treat up to 10,000 pets per year and provides specialistâled, multiâdisciplinary referral services alongside a 24âhour emergency care provision.

How Youâll Make a Difference
As a Referral Veterinary Clinician in Anaesthesia, you will play a central role in supporting a wide range of complex cases within a busy multidisciplinary referral hospital. Youâll work closely with clinicians across multiple disciplines to deliver safe, highâquality anaesthesia and analgesia, contributing to excellent patient outcomes and a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high standards of anaesthesia and perioperative care across a varied referral caseload
- Working collaboratively with Surgery, ECC, Imaging, Internal Medicine and other services
- Supporting the development of anaesthesia protocols and clinical standards
- Providing guidance and support to colleagues within the wider clinical team
- Contributing to a collaborative, open, and supportive team culture
- Playing an active role in clinical governance and continuous improvement

Youâll Bring
- MRCVS registration (or eligibility)
