Blair West are supporting One Utility Bill to find a Strategic Business Development Manager. This innovative tech business transforms how people manage household bills by consolidating them into one simple monthly payment. As the business continues to scale, this newly created role sits within the Commercial team and reports into the Head of Commercial Operations. It’s a key appointment focused on driving new utility partnerships and shaping strategic growth opportunities across the UK.
The opportunity:
- Identify and pursue new strategic utility and service provider partnerships across the UK.
- Negotiate and structure commercial agreements that align with long-term business goals.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to shape the company’s commercial roadmap.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Product, and Finance teams to ensure commercial deals are viable and aligned.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders at partner organisations.
- Drive innovation in the utility offering by sourcing new technologies, services, or partner categories.
- Support cross-functional planning and implementation of new partner integrations.
- Maintain up-to-date reporting on business development activity, pipeline, and outcomes.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:
- A proven track record in strategic business development or partnerships, ideally within utilities or tech.
