Blair West are supporting an established North East business based at Quorum Business park in their search for a graduate finance assistant due to an internal promotion. This would be an excellent introduction into a dynamic finance team for a recent graduate who has a keen interest in a career in finance.
The opportunity:
- Responsible for the delivery of the day to day financial and transactional matters.
- Timely submission of monthly management accounts.
- Assisting the rest of the finance team in improving and delivering efficient month end process, internal reporting and ensuring transactional level work is undertaken.
- Ownership for the billing process.
- Balance sheet management.
- Dealing with customer queries.
- Assisting with credit control.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- Recently graduated with 2:1 degree or above, ideally in finance.
- An interest in pursuing a finance-based career.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially excel.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Passion for what you do and a “can do attitude”.
