Blair West are supporting a high-growth investor-backed pet food manufacturer and ecommerce retailer in the appointment of a Technology Director. This is a high impact leadership role where you will shape the technology strategy of a scaling, product led business. This role offers the opportunity to take real ownership of the technology function within a growing and internationally expanding business. You will be able to shape strategy, influence key decisions and build a team and platform that supports long term success. Your work will have visible impact across the organisation, directly supporting growth, efficiency, and customer experience.
The opportunity:
- Set the direction for technology, architecture and platform evolution.
- Lead engineering, infrastructure and IT functions.
- Ensure systems remain scalable, reliable and secure as the business grows.
- Build and develop a high-performing technology team culture.
- Drive strong engineering practices across development and delivery.
- Own platform performance, infrastructure and resilience.
