The Governing Body of The River Centre 3-16 Learning Community are seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to fully support the school’s journey towards excellence. The successful candidate will be passionate about driving The River Centre 3-16 Learning Community forward and will have the ability to motivate and develop staff as part of a tenacious team, which prides itself on being truly collaborative and supportive.

The post requires a registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) under the category of School Teacher and registration must be in place prior to commencement. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A comprehensive pre‑employment screening process will be undertaken, including an Enhanced Disclosure with Child Barred List. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
