About you

Are you enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of fathers and children, providing them with the best possible start in life? If so, we would love to hear from you. As a Dads Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children.

Your role

Your role would include helping to improve the mental/physical health of fathers, by providing practical support in a variety of settings, including the home; and to improve the social/emotional development of the child by promoting positive parenting skills and healthy coupling relationships. This includes working in partnership with fathers and male family members to offer support, advice and guidance focused on parenting and adult-to-child interactions but also on a range of issues such as behaviour management, financial resilience and collaborating with individuals to raise aspirations and develop confidence and self-esteem.
