The purpose of the Community Hub Representative role is to provide Customer Service support via telephony and also face‑to‑face basis for residents of Blaenau Gwent within the Community Hubs based within Libraries across the borough.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide up‑to‑date information on a wide range of Council services and resolve residents’ queries at first point of contact.
  • Support the Council, its wider service users and partners in providing a front‑door provision for residents.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Highly organised, enthusiastic and confident individual who is able to rise to the challenge of delivering exceptional Customer Service in telephone and face‑to‑face settings.
  • Experience of working within a Customer Service environment and dealing with a wide range of duties.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using own initiative with a confident and positive attitude towards working with all residents, partners and stakeholders.
  • Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement of the role.
