The Children, young people and families Directorate within Blaenau Gwent are looking to recruit 1 x Cleaning Operative post at Ebbw Fawr Secondary Phase for 10 hours per week, 41 weeks of the year.

The successful candidate will clean any designated area to a set standard by use of chemicals, equipment and machinery, and will also maintain their cupboard, equipment and machinery by cleaning and ensuring correct storage after use.

The successful candidate should be able to work as part of a team, have the ability to use their own initiative and be willing to undertake any training considered necessary for the position. COSHH and basic Health and Safety plus experience is desirable.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive pre-employment screening process will be undertaken which will include an Enhanced Disclosure with Child Barred List.
