About Us

We are an expanding business looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a CAD Technician. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and grow with the company while supporting a wide range of traffic management projects across the whole of the UK.

Role Overview

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed traffic management plans using AutoCAD. You will work closely with councils, clients, and our projects team to deliver schemes such as Give and Take Systems, Priority Systems, Two‑Way Traffic lights, Stop and Go Systems, Road Closures and more. The role also involves responding to council requests, adapting and amending plans, and helping ensure works are scheduled and delivered on time. This is a full‑time, permanent role based at our head office in Bradford. Office hours are 08:00 am to 05:30 pm (42.5 hours per week) with occasional overtime available during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing high‑quality technical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Ensuring all drawings comply with Chapter 8 standards.
  • Supporting the projects team with technical administration.
  • Liaising with surveyors to produce accurate drawings.
  • Working alongside and learning from the Senior CAD Technician.
