An exciting opportunity with a growing engineering company that is currently seeking a Senior AC & Refrigeration Engineer. This mobile position covers Central London, Greater London, and within the M25. The role entails visiting approximately two sites per day, with a standard 40-hour work week, though flexibility for early starts or late finishes may be required.

Job Duties

  • The AC engineer will provide maintenance, inspection and testing, servicing of air conditioning and heating ventilation systems.
  • Conduct planned and preventative maintenance on systems, including air handling units, chillers, split units, and fan coil units.
  • Performing fault finding and repairs as part of reactive maintenance.
  • Liaising with building management teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle small work installation and refurbishment projects.
  • Log reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with general building maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in servicing, installation, planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of working with chillers and refrigeration systems.
  • Essential - F-Gas 2079 safe handling of refrigerants certificate.
  • Trade qualified in the field or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Good understanding of building maintenance such as basic electrical, mechanical & plumbing.
  • Knowledge of IT and strong reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
