An exciting opportunity with a growing engineering company that is currently seeking a Senior AC & Refrigeration Engineer. This mobile position covers Central London, Greater London, and within the M25. The role entails visiting approximately two sites per day, with a standard 40-hour work week, though flexibility for early starts or late finishes may be required.
Job Duties
- The AC engineer will provide maintenance, inspection and testing, servicing of air conditioning and heating ventilation systems.
- Conduct planned and preventative maintenance on systems, including air handling units, chillers, split units, and fan coil units.
- Performing fault finding and repairs as part of reactive maintenance.
- Liaising with building management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle small work installation and refurbishment projects.
- Log reports and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with general building maintenance tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in servicing, installation, planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of working with chillers and refrigeration systems.
- Essential - F-Gas 2079 safe handling of refrigerants certificate.
- Trade qualified in the field or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Good understanding of building maintenance such as basic electrical, mechanical & plumbing.
- Knowledge of IT and strong reporting skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
