The UK’s premier Access Platform specialists Blade Access are looking for HGV Class 2 driver/operators to deliver and operate our tracked fleet nationwide from our HQ depot in Bradford on a permanent basis. As a Blade Access platform operator, you will be the face of the largest independent truck mounted access hire company in the UK, providing our clients with safe access to work at heights.
Based from Bradford you will:
- Load a specified tracked spider MEWP
- Deliver to a site either leaving it with the client or operating it for them for the duration of their works up to a working height of 43m
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on site at given time
- Provide customers with means to work safely at height
- Operate the platform in a safe professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service to client personnel on site
- Be up to date with all current health and safety policies, procedures, guidelines and laws
- Assist with our nationwide coverage of the UK and Northern Ireland
- Have in depth knowledge of machine capabilities and operation
- Provide HQ with up to date site information by use of tablet

Requirements:
- Must hold a full clean driving licence & HGV Class 2, CPC and Tacho card licence and be over 21 years old
- IPAF 1b / experience with Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP's) is not essential but advantageous
- CSCS card not essential but advantageous
- Full training is provided
- Travel is a large part of the role
- Working at heights is a large part of the role
- Plenty of overtime as per clients needs
- Weekend Rota - Weekend on Weekend Off
- Flexibility to work away where required
- Work schedules consist of day shifts, night shifts, overtime & weekends
Important Information - The successful applicant will be required to work at heights between 16m - 43m.
