The UK’s premier Access Platform specialist, Blade Access, is looking for 3.5T Driver/Operators. As a Blade Access platform operator you will be the face of the largest independent truck mounted access hire company in the UK, providing our clients with safe access to work at heights. Using one of our specialist 3.5t Platforms you will cover jobs in your immediate and surrounding areas but could be called upon to assist our clients nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive on site at given time
  • Provide customers with means to work safely at height
  • Operate the platform in a safe professional manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to client personnel on site
  • Be up to date with all current health and safety policies, procedures, guidelines and laws
  • Assist with our nationwide coverage of the UK and Northern Ireland
  • Have in depth knowledge of machine capabilities and operation
  • Provide HQ with up to date site information by use of tablet

The position is required to work at heights between 16m – 103m. Our 3.5T Driver would be working at heights of up to 25m. Must have a full clean driving licence and be over 18. IPAF 1b is not essential but advantageous. Experience with Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP’s) is also not essential but advantageous. CSCS card not essential but advantageous. Full training is provided. Travel is a large part of the role. Plenty of overtime as per clients needs. Flexibility to work away where required. As a forward thinking company, we would look to upskill our front line staff with good working records with licences such as HGV class 2.
