Hedge Fund Middle Office/ Process Reengineering

Job description

-Dynamic, growing, extremely successful and highly regarded hedge fund is looking for a strong operations/middle office professional to join a small, high performing team

-This individual will work very closely with traders, portfolio managers, operations, technology, compliance, legal, finance, and other senior members of the firm to maintain, support and enhance all aspects of the trading operational infrastructure

-Resolve complex technical issues and help implement and automate operational processes

-Face off with all members of the team from front to back

-Position reconciliations across multiple exchanges with a focus on process efficiency and improvement

-Manage large data sets and trade reconciliations and resolve exceptions

-Build scripted toolset to enhance data analytics

-Streamline and implement enhanced automation utilizing state of the art technology

-Face off heavily with counterparts in Asia and the US

Qualifications Include:

-2-4 years of similar experience in an operations or trade support role at a broker dealer, hedge fund, bank, fund administrator or other service provider

-Experience in Futures and Options, Digital Assets/Crypto, Equities, Equity Options, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, Swaps, Treasuries, and/ or Credit

-Strong technical and project management skills such as Advanced Excel, VBA, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL

-Exceptional communication skills and ability to excel in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment

-Strong academic background
