The Plant & Labour Administrator is a newly created role supporting Blackwell Earthmoving's Lower Thames Crossing project team. The position provides day-to-day administrative support, helping managers and the wider team with office coordination and project administration. The postholder will contribute to delivering the Company's mission and upholding its values of being Responsible, Respectful, Relentless and Resilient.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing correspondence, including emails, memos and routine reports.
  • Maintaining organised filing systems on SharePoint and other platforms.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and supporting general office logistics.
  • Creating and formatting documents as required.
  • Greeting visitors and offering general administrative support to the team.
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handling queries from senior managers and completing data entry tasks.
  • Ensuring accurate storage of key documentation and supporting colleagues when needed.
  • Supporting new employee vetting and compliance, including speaking with potential hires and new starters to assess suitability, matching candidates to roles, and following all hiring processes and procedures in line with company policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven administrative experience, either in an office or virtual support role.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time-management with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • High attention to detail and confident problem-solving ability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
