Heath and Safety Advisor

Position: Health & Safety Advisor Location: HS2 Salary: £43k package lodging About the Role: We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our site delivery team on a major earthmoving contract. This role is essential for ensuring a safe working environment and promoting a positive safety culture. Key Responsibilities: Provide HSE support and guidance to the site team. Conduct regular site tours and inspections. Investigate incidents and report findings. Build positive relationships with the workforce. Collaborate with the client\’s SHE team. Conduct HSE training and site inductions. Maintain HSE documentation and plans. Produce monthly HSE reports. Stay updated with relevant legislation. Key Competencies: Essential: Experience in Health & Safety within the construction industry. NEBOSH General Certificate or higher. Understanding of CDM regulations. Site-based experience in construction and civil engineering. Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation. Strong communication skills. Desirable: Knowledge of ISO standards.
