About the Role:
We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our site delivery team on a major earthmoving contract. This role is essential for ensuring a safe working environment and promoting a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HSE support and guidance to the site team.
- Conduct regular site tours and inspections.
- Investigate incidents and report findings.
- Build positive relationships with the workforce.
- Collaborate with the client's SHE team.
- Conduct HSE training and site inductions.
- Maintain HSE documentation and plans.
- Produce monthly HSE reports.
- Stay updated with relevant legislation.
Key Competencies:
Essential:
- Experience in Health & Safety within the construction industry.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or higher.
- Understanding of CDM regulations.
- Site-based experience in construction and civil engineering.
- Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation.
