We are seeking an interim qualified Financial Accountant to support our Private Equity–backed SaaS client. This role will play a key part in ensuring robust financial reporting, strong controls, and insightful financial analysis to support growth, value creation, and investor requirements. The successful candidate will be hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, statutory accounts, and consolidated financial statements
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. IFRS / GAAP)
- Support Private Equity reporting requirements, including board packs, investor reporting, and performance analysis
- Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes
- Oversee revenue recognition and key SaaS metrics (e.g. ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC)
- Maintain and improve financial controls, policies, and processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Strong background in financial accounting
- Proven experience working in a Private Equity–backed business
- Demonstrated experience supporting SaaS or subscription‑based businesses
- Solid understanding of SaaS revenue models and KPIs
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with modern finance systems/ERPs
This role is for 3 - 6 months. Predominantly remote with 1 day / week based in the West London office. You must be able to start immediately. £400-£500 per day.
