Edtech business is recruiting a Head of Finance; their first in-house finance lead, to help drive the next phase of growth. They’re a <£5m ARR SaaS platform backed by private equity, set to expand B2B & B2C customer base internationally. This person will build out the finance infrastructure and support wider business development.
The Role
- Partner directly with the CEO and investors to build and lead the finance function, combining hands-on delivery with strategic input.
- Own financial reporting, controls, and accounting operations.
- Build SaaS KPI reporting (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV) and a single source of truth.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Drive insight on pricing, growth, and unit economics.
- Implement cashflow forecasting and improve commercial visibility.
- Support systems, automation, and process scalability.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Currently a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or strong #2.
- Experience in SaaS, subscription, or high-growth environments preferred.
- Strong fundamentals in reporting, FP&A, and financial modelling.
- Ambitious, hands-on, and ready to step into a #1 role.
