Edtech business is recruiting a Head of Finance; their first in-house finance lead, to help drive the next phase of growth. They’re a <£5m ARR SaaS platform backed by private equity, set to expand B2B & B2C customer base internationally. This person will build out the finance infrastructure and support wider business development.

The Role

  • Partner directly with the CEO and investors to build and lead the finance function, combining hands-on delivery with strategic input.
  • Own financial reporting, controls, and accounting operations.
  • Build SaaS KPI reporting (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV) and a single source of truth.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Drive insight on pricing, growth, and unit economics.
  • Implement cashflow forecasting and improve commercial visibility.
  • Support systems, automation, and process scalability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • Currently a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or strong #2.
  • Experience in SaaS, subscription, or high-growth environments preferred.
  • Strong fundamentals in reporting, FP&A, and financial modelling.
  • Ambitious, hands-on, and ready to step into a #1 role.
