We are recruiting an interim Commercial Finance Manager for our West London based blue chip software client to start asap for an initial 6 month contract. Working closely with the Deal desk, regional CFOs and sales leaders across the European markets, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless commercial deal support. This is a standalone role providing commercial finance deal support whilst ensuring that the correct controls are in place. Key responsibilities of the role include: * Provide commercial finance review and support for deals across the European region. * Support the sales team in structuring and closing. * Support deal structuring to maximize and optimize Bookings, Total Contract Value (TCV) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). * Keep the Deal Approval Request (DAR) process moving — ensuring reviews and approvals are timely, well-controlled and clearly communicated. * Support month-end close Bookings Review for the region. * Provide finance and commercial input and support to the Regional Leadership Team. * Advise on the financial implications of management and commercial decisions. * Collaborate with Business Operations and FP&A teams on forecasting Bookings. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the finance team, auditors, budget holders and customers. You must be able to hit the ground running and pick up the existing deal pipeline, providing guidance to account executives on structure and ensuring booking accuracy. Candidates must be; * Qualified with 5 years PQE in commercial finance, sales finance or revenue/commercial operations, and preferably in the IT/software industry. * Able to get up to speed quickly and operate effectively with minimal ramp-up. * Experienced in supporting sales and consulting organizations. * Strong understanding of Bookings, Total Contract Value (TCV) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and how deal terms affect them. * Strong grasp of deal structuring: pricing, discounting, payment terms, credit risk and contract commercials. * Confident partnering with senior sales and finance stakeholders — able to work constructively and help structure a better deal. * Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
