We are seeking an experienced Transformation CFO to lead a significant process, systems and operational improvement programme across a growing consumer brand business based in central London. This is a hands-on transformation role for a commercially minded CFO who can look beyond traditional finance and challenge how the business operates end-to-end. You will review existing processes, systems, controls and data flows, identify inefficiencies and duplication, and implement a more scalable operating model using AI, automation and technology wherever there is a clear business case. A particular focus will be placed on stock management and inventory, ensuring the business has accurate, timely and actionable information across purchasing, forecasting, supply chain, warehousing, stock movements, margins and working capital. Key Responsibilities; * Lead a comprehensive process and systems review across finance and wider business operations. * Map current processes, identify bottlenecks, manual work, duplication and control weaknesses, and establish priorities for improvement. * Design and implement a more efficient, scalable and data-driven operating model. * Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to eliminate repetitive manual processes, improve decision-making and reduce administrative overhead. * Review the existing finance, ERP, inventory, reporting and operational systems and recommend improvements, integrations or replacement where appropriate. * Develop robust management information and dashboards that give leadership clear visibility of performance and operational drivers. * Take ownership of improving stock and inventory processes, including purchasing, forecasting, goods-in, stock movements, warehouse processes, stock reconciliation, stock ageing, provisions, write-offs and stock accuracy. * Improve visibility and control of gross margin, landed costs, SKU profitability and working capital. * Strengthen forecasting, budgeting and scenario planning using better data and automated reporting. * Introduce appropriate AI tools to improve analysis, reporting, forecasting and workflow automation. * Ensure that automation improves controls and accountability rather than creating additional risk. * Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing, Technology and senior leadership to embed improvements. * Establish clear KPIs and measurable benefits for each transformation initiative. * Lead change management and ensure new processes are adopted effectively across the organisation. * Provide the CEO and Board with clear recommendations, implementation plans and progress reporting. To be considered you must be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5 years PQE and have demonstrable experience of delivering end to end process transformation projects. Duration of project – circa 6 months. Start September
