Role: Sales Advisor

Earnings: First year £25000-£32000 OTE incl. incentives, Year 2 is £30000-£40000 OTE
Commitment Needed: 4-5 full days per week, Monday-Friday (Full time equivalent)
Our client would be nowhere without its successful sales team. We’re seeking an entry level sales advisors to help sell the products and services that their customers rely on. The sales advisor will gain a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who is willing to learn negotiating skills and an ability to showcase their clients offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and skills workshops, the sales advisors must be both personable and professional. This role is offered on a self employed basis and all earnings are paid on a brand awareness fee plus commission only structure that rewards those who work hardest and make the most sales.
Objectives of this role
- Represent a brand’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how the brands solutions meet the needs of customers (will be taught during initial client training)
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships by organising daily work schedule to meet potential customers
- Develop and implement territory action plans using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results
Responsibilities
- Maintain and gain relationships with existing and potential customers, in face-to-face field sales environments to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities
- Identify prospects make effective qualifying sales pitches and manage sales cycle to close new customers
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
- Give feedback to executive leadership, so they understand the market and how to implement certain strategies to boost sales
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current customer needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and/or presentations
- Coordinate with other sales advisors to ensure that quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld
Required skills and qualifications
- Must be able to work full time in the UK with no restrictions or limitations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills
- Proficiency with computers and tablets
- Professional English speaking proficiency level
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism or willing to learn these skills
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, A levels or equivalent
- Ideally 6 months experience in a customer facing position like retail, hospitality, direct marketing, customer service, care, sales, or any similar sectors
- Persuasion and negotiation skills
