We are seeking a proactive and innovative IT Systems Engineer to spearhead the management and evolution of the IT infrastructure for one of our clients. Reporting to the CIO, this key role will drive the execution of the organisations IT strategy while collaborating with diverse teams, including technical staff, developers, and external partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver ERP projects from inception through implementation and go-live phases.
- Engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and project momentum.
- Conduct thorough requirement gathering and oversee system discovery processes.
- Design, implement, and maintain IT systems and networks to meet organisational needs.
- Manage integration efforts for IT applications while ensuring seamless functionality.
- Monitor and enhance IT service performance using defined KPIs and SLAs.
- Develop and present service delivery reports for executive review.
- Ensure system security, data protection, and adherence to licensing regulations.
- Manage hardware and software procurement to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Provide secure remote access for users and address technical crises swiftly.
- Train and mentor IT staff, fostering skill development and operational excellence.
- Oversee system upgrades, reliability testing, and implementation of backup protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices.
Working Conditions
Based on-site Chigwell, Essex, IG6. Standard hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Extensive travel within the UK to support subsidiaries.
