Job Description

This organisation is a strategic hub created to unite and promote the semiconductor sector to drive scale-up and growth.

They are a single point of contact for anyone wanting to engage with the UK semiconductor industry and are a trusted and knowledgeable source of insight and information in addition to being creators of networks and connections.

This role will provide an opportunity to develop and maintain our employers' digital platforms, data systems and online services.

Support the collection, processing and presentation of ecosystem data, including automation of data ingestion, cleaning and transformation workflows.

Contribute to the development of tools that support stakeholder engagement, ecosystem mapping, communications and insight generation.

Provide day-to-day support for their IT systems and digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data & Platform Development
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, process and transform data from multiple sources.
  • Design and manage structured datasets and JSON-based data architectures.
  • Automate data collection, cleansing and enrichment processes where appropriate.
  • Support the development and maintenance of ecosystem mapping and discovery tools.
  • Build and maintain integrations between websites, databases, CRM systems and third-party services.
  • Web & Digital Services
  • Support development and maintenance of their websites and digital platforms.
  • Implement and maintain APIs and data services.
  • Manage source code repositories and deployment workflows.
  • Contribute to user-facing tools, dashboards and visualisations.
  • CRM & Systems Integration
  • Support implementation and administration of CRM and stakeholder engagement platforms.
  • Develop integrations between CRM, communications and event systems.
  • Help establish data governance, quality assurance and reporting processes.
  • IT & Operational Support
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams and Share Point.
  • Provide first-line IT support for staff and contractors.
  • Support management of devices, user accounts and access permissions.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
  • Future Development
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and better use of digital tools.
  • Support the evolution of their ecosystem intelligence and engagement capabilities.
  • Contribute to technical planning and future platform architecture.
  • Here’s what you’ll need
  • Experience developing web-based applications or services.
  • Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON, CSV and XML.
  • Familiarity with databases and data modelling principles.
  • Experience using Git-based version control systems (Git Hub or Git Lab).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and data quality.
  • Experience building APIs or integrating third-party systems.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Hub Spot, Civi CRM, Salesforce or similar.
  • Experience with cloud hosting environments and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with open-source software projects and collaborative development.
  • Experience with data visualisation, mapping or network analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Interest in semiconductors, technology ecosystems, innovation or public policy.

Qualifications

  • Graduate, Masters, or Ph D Student with a degree, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience in computer science, software engineering, information systems, data science or a related field.
