The BREDS Operations team is responsible for executing new investing and capital markets transactions across the BREDS business, as well as overseeing daily portfolio activities and cash flows.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the operations of approximately $78 billion in BREDS assets under management and related transactions, including the firm’s publicly listed REIT, Blackstone Mortgage Trust (NYSE: BXMT), private fund structures, single managed accounts, and insurance vehicles.
- Partner with investment professionals and BREDS Finance teams in London, New York, and Sydney to execute new investment transactions and financing strategies.
- Oversee aspects of the BREDS offshore operations team and the dedicated portfolio company servicing and onboarding team, providing training to junior members as required.
- Execute investment funding activities alongside the BREDS asset management team, including related treasury, debt financing, and foreign currency considerations.
- Manage the operations of credit facilities across multiple BREDS vehicles, including future funding advances, repayments, compliance reporting, covenant monitoring, and fee calculations.
- Liaise with BREDS asset managers and the servicing and onboarding team to validate monthly interest income calculations, funding and paydown activity, and waterfall cash remittances.
- Review monthly and quarterly investment portfolio analytics prepared for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; CFA and/or ACA/ACCA/CIMA credentials are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting, transaction services, a private equity fund, consulting, or other relevant real estate debt roles.
- Background in financial services and/or real estate preferred.
- Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment that involves transaction execution as well as project-based initiatives supporting a rapidly growing business.
- Self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
- Innovative mindset with comfort leveraging technology and systems to improve processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel required.
